Getting started with LUPO

Last updated 31 Jul 2026

This guide walks through setting up a new venue and taking your first booking. It assumes you already have a LUPO login. If you don't, contact your account owner to be invited from Settings → Team.

1. Set your venue profile

Go to Settings → Profile and fill in your venue's name, logo, location, and support contact details. These flow through to guest-facing emails and the checkout widget, so it's worth doing first.

Tip: leave any field blank if it doesn't apply. LUPO never falls back to placeholder text on a live venue.

2. Create a resource

A resource is the thing you're actually booking: a mini-golf lane, a karaoke room, a shuffleboard table. Go to Resources and add one for each bookable space. Resources can be single-unit (one lane) or a shared pool (e.g. 6 identical booths).

3. Add a schedule

A schedule defines when a resource is bookable: opening hours, session slots, blackout days. Go to Schedules and attach one to your resource.

4. Create your first product

A product combines a resource, a schedule, and pricing. This is what guests actually see and book. Go to Products and create one, choosing a duration and price per person or flat rate.

5. Preview and embed checkout

Go to Checkout to preview your live booking widget, theme it to your brand colours, and copy the embed snippet onto your own website. See Embedding the checkout widget for the full walkthrough.

6. Take a test booking

Use the checkout preview to run through a real booking end to end. It'll show up in Bookings immediately, where you can open it to see check-in, cancel, and the timeline in action.
