Pricing, discounts & add-ons

How LUPO works out what a guest pays — from the base price through to discounts, add-ons, fees and gift cards.

Per person or flat rate

Each product has a pricing mode, set on its page under Booking setup:

Every duration a product offers carries its own price — a 60-minute and a 90-minute session can be priced independently.

Price rules

Products → Price rules change prices by day and time — weekends, late nights, happy hour. Each rule has days, a from/to time, and a percentage and/or dollar adjustment (negative for a discount). Percentage rules add up first, then dollar adjustments apply. Untick Active to pause a rule without deleting it.

Discount codes

Products → Discount codes are codes guests type at checkout. Each is a percentage or a fixed amount, with an optional usage limit or date range. By default a code covers every product; you can limit it to specific products or to a tag — a tag keeps covering products you add to it later.

Add-ons

Products → Add-ons are extras offered at checkout — a drinks package, a birthday cake. An add-on applies once to the whole order, not per activity. Mark it Per person to charge it per guest, or Sold by qty to let guests choose how many. If none of a product's add-ons apply, the checkout skips the add-ons step entirely.

Booking fee and tax

Set a booking fee under Settings → Tax & Fees. Prices are tax-inclusive: your default tax rate is shown to guests as an "included" line on the total, but it doesn't add to what they pay.

Gift cards

A gift card is redeemed like a code at checkout and comes off last — after discounts and the booking fee — up to its remaining balance. If a gift card covers the whole total, no card payment is needed.
